Hotel Perrakis is located in the Greek Island Andros part of the Cyclades state in the central Aegean. Cyclades is a group of many small islands with vast contrast all not more of a short ferry trip away. Andros is ideally situated only two hours from the port of Rafina in Athens, and two and a half hours form Mykonos. Both ports are very close to International airports with direct flights from all over the world. Frequent busses connect airports to ferry ports. Boat tickets can be bought on site just before boarding. Reservations are usually needed in July, August and on weekends.
The climate in Andros is consistent with most Greek islands. Hot but dry summers, with the hottest month of the year being July. August tends to be a bit windy. May, June, September, and October are good months to visit, having the best climate. Winters are pleasant; never get too cold but January and February tend to be rainy. Spring is beautiful with many nature lovers enjoying the greenery and rare species of flowers. Water temperature ranges from 18 to 22 degrees Celsius. The warmest sea temperature is in September.
