Nea Makri (4 km)
Undoubtedly the hart of the area. Typical Greek town, with a beautiful sea front, with nice walking area, many cafes, gelaterias and restaurants overlooking the island of Evia. Very well known for its night life.
Schinias beach (8 km)
Schinias is probably the best organised sandy beach close to Athens, hence the most popular amongst the Athenians. Full of beach bars, sea sports and beach tavernas where one may enjoy traditional food and drink by the sand.
