The county of Arta spreads out from the Tzoumerka Ranges till the Amvrakiko Gulf. Arta combines a mountainous landscape as well as open plains though the rivers Louro and Arahtho divide it. At the delta the this two rivers create, you meet a beautiful water land where many species of water birds find shelter and food, but also here you will find olive groves and orange orchids. Apart from the natural beauty of the place, you’ll find remarkable memorials, like the famous bridge of Arta, the magnificent Byzantine churches and the Ancient Theatre of Amvrakia and the Castle of Arta. Atra is also famous for the alcohol beverages of the area, the oranges, and olives.
