South of Amorgo you find the Anafi, an island that offers serene and relaxing holidays. The picturesque main town is built high up on a hill and is only two kilometers from the port, the Aghios Nikolaos. Here you will find clean beaches with clear blue waters in the south of the island and rocky beaches on the north. The only settled areas of the island are the main town, Aghios Nikolaos and Klisidi. The sights to see while in Anafi are the beautiful churches, the ruins of the Ancient Temple of Apollo as well as the monastery of the Virgin Mary of Kalamiotissas. Anafi is the perfect place for walking, since the only road that a car can pass through is the one that connects the main town with the port.
