In the building where past postmen delivered tons of mail, Capsis Bristol has its own story to tell... Petite, elegant, warm and hospitable, Capsis Bristol revives the historical building of the old Ottoman Post office at the corner of Katouni and Oplopoiou Street. The building underwent the complete restoration in 2000 by Ms. Lena Capsis, leaving the touch of the collector's authentic decorative style.
Situated at Thessaloniki's most vivid crossroads in Ladadika, Capsis Bristol harmonically combines history, tradition, and the city's modern development. It is the only Historic Hotel of Thessaloniki (Yades Heritage & Hospitality Hotels) and as an honourable member of the Historic Hotels of Europe, it authentically binds its unique historical character with luxury. The hotel is carefully designed to enable access and transportation of the physically challenged throughout all main hotel facilities.
The marbles, the wooden floors, the Persian carpets, the paintings, the unique antiques and the rare decorative items, all part of the collection of Capsis family, take the guest to a romantic era. The 20 fully renovated rooms and suites are classically decorated, capable of satisfying our guests' demanding tastes. Every object within the five star boutique hotel has its own historical and emotional value.
At the corner of Katouni and Oplopoiou Street you will find the entrance to bistro-bar Medusa.
